Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and enthusastic individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the dental office's calendar
  • Answering phone calls and emails, and addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims
  • Collecting payments and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Collaborating effectively with other members of the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
